False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are offered at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs begin at NCV level two as well as bare minimum requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade tvet college engineering 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two and that is equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which type of scholars are suited for these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that standard education is just not always the sole means of becoming an artisan or becoming certified therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is really properly suited to that student.
